I think they are a solid team and they have many solid wins including wins on the road at unc and duke, but I can see them being a team that gets upseted in the 1st or 2nd round of the big dance. They might be peaking too early, and might get worn out by the end of the year.

I’ll tell you this. they are playing some good ball right now….but I wouldn’t be surprised to see them as a first round upset or lose in the second round. ACC play is tough and they are doing a good job…but I think they are going to be beat up by the time the Dance comes around.

Men’s and Women’s equipment is different. A men’s board is thicker and is built for mens’ generally thicker frame. A women’s board on the other hand is thinner and works better with women because it is lighter and doesn’t need as much pressure to turn. Depending on which bindings you get you can get mens’ bindings but i recommend you don’t. Women’s bindings are designed by women and respond to how a women moves on a board.

Since females tend to have smaller feet the boards tend to be narrower to help turn initiation. Since females are lighter then males, the boards are also ‘softer’.

Not really much difference in weight of the boards itself. YOu can have lightweight and heavy female boards just the same as males.

If the board fits (mainly the width) then you should be fine. If its too wide it can cause problems with response and turning.
